Custom typeface | design: Pentagram | customer: Lightmatter

Pentagram, one of the most iconic design studios in the world, contacted us to join forces in developing a typographic proposal for their client Lightmatter Hardware.

Lightmatter is devoted to creating a next-generation computing platform purpose-built to bring artificial intelligence to the next level.

The starting point to design this typeface was using geometry to convey precision and efficiency, but having alternates to communicate evolution, change, dynamics. Pentagram’s team does a magnificent job extracting the full potential of the typeface with kinetic type, perfectly expressing how information is alive, sustained and fast.
